Cold start problems on 1hdfte 2006. Timing is fine. She is not liking the cold mornings, hard to fire, blows white smoke on start up. Have been informed by toyota that this model does not have glow plugs, but some other means of heating. The bloke from spare parts could not confirm exactly what part takes care of heating (this is toyota) F*ck me. Can anyone tell me how the heat process works in chamber, and what part i need to order to replace heating device so engine fires without all the fuss.
