Hello all. Ive been floating around this forum for a while, gathering research on what year FJ40 I want to get... I think Ive narrowed it down to a 75 FJ40. I live in CA so it would be smog exempt. I found a guy whos selling one.. He claims it is a 1975 FJ40..but looking at the side doors and back doors it looks wrong. From what Ive read I thought the wing windows were not on the side doors..also I thought the rear was a side by side option. So am I wrong on this...
please look at pics below and let me know what you guys think.

thanks.

hi there

looks ok to me I have 1968 in stock and looks the same

giles

Hi,
Try putting the VIN number into Toyodiy.com and it should give you the details.
1975 is a transition year so depending on when it was produced during that year will determine what spec it is.
It is an interesting combination with the leter style side panels and a lift-up rear panel

Hope that helps
Regards
