High Lambda MOT Failure FZJ80

[Highlander]

Failed MOT with high lambda on the emissions test. This means it's running lean. Common explanation of this is an exhaust leak, but I haven't detected one. It's only 10% over, so unlikely to be a duff lambda sensor.

Anyone had experience of this with an FZJ80?

was it hot of cold for the test? VOSA failed my GR for Lamda over as they tested a brand new car stone cold! sailed through when I drove it there for retest.

Just to update this, new Lambda fixed my lean running issue

Removed the old one with heat so as not to shear the studs. Cleaned up the threads with a die, fitted a new Denso unit. It's all good
