Higher Milage 78 series

Hi Currently looking at a 12 78 Series Landcruiser Single cab flatdeck with the V8 turbo diesel, it has 490,000 km on it, not sure on its maintenance record ( multiple owners) I realise this is high milage but will it do another couple of 100k km easily ?

I don't think anyone can answer that because it all depends on how well it was cared for .

300k miles 250 is considered about run in for an old 4.2 straight six .

I suppose overall condition is telling as well , just about any car will do incredible miles if only on a motorway doing daily long distance runs .

Why not play it safe and aim for a price that leave change for a reconditioned engine if you can find one .
