Intermittent wiper not working

As per the title really. Intermittent wiper hasn't ever worked and for the last 8 years its been really, really bugging me every time there is light drizzle but once I stop driving I forget about the problem until the next time its drizzling, when I curse myself and the cycle repeats.

Is intermittent on a different fuse? Could it be the switch? Or something else.

Someone please help me before I shoot myself.....
