I've been researching Land Cruiser and Overland/Expedition oriented resources for a while now and have come across literally hundreds of alternative websites, magazines etc. Some useful, most not. However, I know there are loads of information resources out there that I am not aware of but many of you guys are. One example being that I'm sure I've heard a few of you mention specific magazines (I think from either Oz, US, or SA) that are particularly relevant to Land Cruisers but you cannot find on the shelves over here.
I wondered whether it would be a good idea to collate what people know about the best websites and magazines etc that are the most relevant to Land Cruisers and Overland/Expedition preparation. Rather than simply list everything we're aware of, perhaps people could just recommend those resources that they have found to particularly useful or relevant.
As an example, three probably very well known examples that I would recommend would be the Overland Journal http://www.overlandjournal.com/, the IH8MUD website and forum http://www.ih8mud.com/, and the Expedition Portal http://www.expeditionportal.com/
If people were interested perhaps we could define what to include in the posts, such as a brief description and either the link or info on how to get, and maybe make the thread a sticky...?
Although I have no doubt that there will be different opinions on what constitutes a 'useful' or 'relevant' resource it would undoubtedly be a huge source of information that would be easy to access.
What do people think......?
