Hi everybody,

I am so glad to join this lovely forum.

I need help on 2010 LC 76. I want some help on how to wire an Oil pressure sender switch (3 wires) from engine up to the instrument cluster in order to have the oil low-high pressure gauge working.

Originally, I had an oil pressure switch with a single wire that goes to the cluster for the idiot light warning. I have replaced the cluster with a one that has a rev counter and an oil pressure gauge. The problem is that I don't know why it has 3 wires? and do they connect direct to the cluster? and which pins on cluster?

Tried searching for instrument cluster pin-out or 76 electrical diagram but there was no success.

see attached pics showing the difference between the 2 sensors.

Thanks in advance for any assistance .

Hi there mate, welcome to the forum.. my guess is that the 3rd wire is for communication to a ecu.. wether you have one or not?? So guessing that 2 of the wires carry the same signal.. be nice if you had the wiring block connector for it as well..

All the best with it...Iwan
