LCD Panel Electrical Issues

My LCD map/info/climate/audio display and external push buttons are turning on/off intermittently. I have a 2004 model, no problems until last week. Acts as if I have a loose connection, then it seems to lock up, and reboot.

Has anyone had issues like this?

Where would a harness connection be located for these features?

Hi Jeff,

Not sure if it will help, but pretty straightforward to remove the whole unit. Use something like a credit card to remove the units on each side of the screen (complete piece which carries the vent - nice imitation wood!) - they just prise out (with care!). Then you can access the bolts which hold the screen etc to the dashboard frame. Lots of plugs at the back, but you can't get them mixed up as they are all unique.

I guess if you unplug everything it will at least reboot itself - good luck!
