We are setting off overland from London to Melbourne next week. We are spending a couple of months in the Mediterranean before heading up through Eastern Europe in July and arriving in St Petersburg on about 9 August. We're then planning on spending about 20 days in Western Russia before heading through the Stans (Kaz, Uzb, Taj and Kyrg) (approx. end of August until mid-October). We're then spending 30 days in China going from Kashgar to the Laos border via Xi'an and then down through South East Asia. Hopefully we will get to Melbourne by the end of Jan.
