My first 74 FJ

I just recently purchased a 1974 FJ40 and Im wondering if i should swap out the original engine. Does anyone have any recommendations on engines and transmissions?

I dropped a 12HT with a 5 speed into mine? it just depends on two factors, how much money you want to spend & how much of the work you can do yourself?
Also added 80 series suspension for a better ride.
