Well i finally got all the parts i needed to get the LJ78 on the road. The last biggies were the glow plugs and the new hub spacers. The LJ78 has a special funky electric hub configuration that you cant just replace with manuals. You have to get special adaptor rings, $265 Canadian. But with that done and the new glow plugs, the j- hook on the turbo wast gate, the zener diode on the map sensor output, the 1/2 turn of extra fuel at the injector pump, the egr and throttle plate removal, bearing repacks, radiator flush, and all other fluids including brakes changed, She starts with a pop
and runs and drives great. Has skads of power, and even with summer lug tread tire handles great in the snow. Im off to the tire shop this afternoon to get a new set of BF goodrich all terrains installed. Once it gets icy out i wont be able to keep those rock tires on the road.
