Nut dropped into engine bay

This may sound stupid, upgrading the spot lights on my prado, and stupidly left the nut off of the positive battery terminal on top of the battery, I have no idea where the little bugger has gone, I spent over an hour searching because without it the car won't start, and I had to move the car, so I have ended up as a temp fix using the nut that hold the battery down just to get it off the driveway, it won't be moving until I replace that, however I am picturing the nut ending up in the timing belt, any ideas or am I just crazy

I wouldn't worry about it the lost nut has no way in to cause a problem anywhere .

It will probably end up sitting on top of the engine bash plate, out of sight till it jiggles off never to be seen again
