I have two tanks set-up for my Troopy and the main tank joins the rear about where the drivers door is. It has leaked diesel for some time so thought I'd put an end to it and after some rummaging found diesel was leaking between a metal pipe welded in the middle of the vehicle. I've by-passed it and just put a pipe across from the tank straight to the connector (which joins the rear tank) but have no idea if what I've actually done is by-pass a non-return valve. It hasn't caused me any problems yet, the Troopy starts fine and isn't dripping any fuel, so all good from that perspective . . . and yet? have tested it by shining a light and squirting water through but not a full flow through it. So does anyone else have one of these and is it just a connector pipe or a non-return valve? Thanks in advance for any info!!
