Rubber strip seal from sunroof

I have just had a rubber strip seal similar in cross section to a wiper blade insert but 920mm long, land on the console when I opened the sunroof. Any ideas just where it came from, I cannot see a slot anywhere up there that it would fit and cannot find it in the parts list or any of the exploded diagrams available on the net.
