Spheres by Pleiades

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a hdj100l-gnpex model land cruiser. Recently the ride started feeling really rough, like riding inside a bouncy castle on wheels, and after taking it to the dealer they told me the spheres have gone flat and that they want to charge me around 3000 dollars to replace them .

I did some looking around on ebay and I found some which I believe are made by Pleiades (the Citroen hydraulics specialists) who have posted here before. The whole set will cost me around 1000 dollars including shipping (I live in the Dominican Republic).

Has anyone bought and tried these? Has your experience been positive?

I have not tried them myself but others on here think they are great and that would be good enough for me.

I've just had my rear pair of spheres "renewed" by Martin and the boys at Pleiades (they did the front set about four months ago) and I couldn't be happier. But a word of warning. To the best of my knowledge Martin doesn't do ebay and I would stay well clear of ebay copycats because you simply don't know what you're getting. The following are the contact details for Martin:

Hi John, to all reading this thread I concur Martin has an excellent set up and give you honest advice .Had all four corners done earlier in the year really happy,one less thing to worry about .

I've known Martin at Pleiades since the mid '90s and i'm not aware of anyone anywhere in the world with his expertise on spheres hydraulic suspension systems. He warranties his work, so it's definitely worth checking that anything offered on fleebay are definitely from him.
