Hi Guys - you know my place has an open door policy, all welcome, well, we have been lucky to meet 2 or 3 of you on your travels, but we had some new people stay over last night from the one of the overland forums, complete with daughter and doggie and ......CAMEL.............





What a beastie! 4.2 turbo / intercooled from an 80 series as was the gearbox, unimagionable amount of work & mods (tough dog suspenders etc) Made my lifted 95 look like a micro car! Origional builder was http://www.desert-tec.de/

2x 60l water tanks, 90l and 120l ? fuel tanks, boy it must weigh a tonne or 3.6t I think he said when fully loaded!

His prev Troopy had a pop up roof, but unasisted, and quite heavy - too heavy for a girlie apparently.....he hurt his back and couldnt cope with it anymore, so swapped it for the Camel!
