What is this connector / sensor on the side of the gear box, a manual 5 speed box in a 2004 125 to be exact.

There's a lot of broken and bodges wiring around my gear box and diffs, just wondering what this broken sensor is? It's connector was bodged together to it and hadn't seem to be causing any issues but seen as I have the box off at the min I might renew it if I knew what it was. :)

Hi, you probably have figured it out, but these are the transfer indicators, tell the computer which gear is selected. There is also a similar one for the back up light.

Yeah, I figured it out, it's the reverse light sensor, I actually purchased a new one. Now, I'm trying to purchase a female connector from the wiring loom side to connect to it, but prooving tricky. I might just crimp 2 small female spade connectors onto the wires and connect them that way. Thanks for the reply and diagram though none the less :)
