one of my boys started a drift spec Nissan Skyline, that had just had a new crank fitted...... had NO OIL in it!!!! ran it for nearly a minute before he realised!! there was no damage to the engine, all parts had been coated in GRAPHOGEN. IT IS SUPERB STUFF!

i got a 93, the alarm control box is under the front passenger seat, mine appears to work on the door locking system???

well...... decided to get some new tyres and rims. now running: 305/70/16 BFG muds on 10x16 steels et-32. stock ride height, but uprated springs. no rubbing at all, trimmed bumper a tad, but it wasn't really necessary.

what size rims are you running the 285/75/16's on? i'm also looking to get new tyres, currently on 275/70/16. bfg at's on 8x16 zero offset. thinking of going for 285/75/16 bfg's either mud or at's, but i'm thinking of putting them on 10x16 modulars with a -32 offset. done a few measurements...

i've used ACL bearings for years in my drift cars, nissan rb25/26 engines running in excess of 500bhp, never had a problem with them, they take an awful lot of punishment even under extreme high temperatures. not saying the toyota( or whoever makes them for toyota) bearings are not good, just...

standard size acl bearings will fit, the crank was very well made, they never wear, you cant even regrind the crank shaft, ie, if you spin a shell, its a new crank, that or the con rod pops out to say hello! thats why i did mine, its insurance agaist destroying your engine, i kept putting off...

just found and checked the paper work i got with the truck, i think it might have been fitted by Whichford Toyota, Maidenhead.

yep, the secret to wrapping is warmth, however another is poor lacquer, the lacquer can come away from the paint sticking to the wrap. took me 3 attempts to wrap the bonnet of my Stagea.

mine is a 93 vx auto with a cruise control, fitted prior to my owner ship but it is similar to what Starcruiser describes.

thanks for the replies, will probably get the 285/75 /16 BFG all terrains. most important job to do 1st...... big end bearings. its done 215,000 miles and still on the original end shells.

cheers for the info on the tyres, i've got 275/70/16 BFG all terrain on it now, gonna replace them as the last owner put them on 14 years ago, 80k miles they've done, still got 7mm of tread! was just gonna go slightly wider really. as for the spacers... 30mm... front wheel would still sit on...
