I’ve got a 2000 1hz 105 series that’s recently had a service and since then it has been getting hot and started making a ticking noise. The factory water temp gauge never went over 3/4 when it did get hot.
The ticking noise only starts after around 20sec after the engine has been idling. It starts off inconsistent and only ticks every now and then but then starts ticking in sync with the engine. It goes away after revving it up to around 1000rpm. Anyone know what could be going on?
It also ticks in the higher rev range when I put the foot down to speed up or going up hills.
