80 Series - Overland Build Iceman's

I'd have just fixed them with a Speedisleeve. Mind you depends how much the shafts cost you. Left one is really not that bad

Where do you buy them (SKF -Sleedisleeve) I must say I've not come across them before you posted. Never too old to learn! The short one was £120 incl the long one was £259 Incl

Jeez! Sleeves cost me £30 the other week. I got mine from a bearing specialist but you can order them on line. I only used on in the end. I filled the groove first with a compound then put the sleeve on. Job done.

Well at least I now know about these sleeves now - school fees I suppose

Sorry about that. Well don't chuck the old ones out. Bit of work and they'll be saleable to someone else. Get some of your money back.
