Ok ive called this Adventure Mods as im not planning any big time treks across Africa :icon-wink:

Just a few weekends away with family and scouts in the UK.

First up was a Awning, after lots of looking and reading I decided on a Foxwing, as it covers so much area and looks stronger than the roller blind ones.
I had the upgrade my factory standard roof rack to a Heavy Duty Rhino Roof Bars (Black)

Pictures so far..

Now im not happy with the height of the Foxwing on its standard brackets so are in the proses of new stainless steel brackets made which will sit the foxwing 80mm lower so will cover up the ends of the roof bars nicely.

I have ordered some LED worklights, A Roof Tray, a Oztent RV2 which will fit onto the foxwing awning.
I cant wait for the weather to break so I can try it all out and take some pictures.

Im also planning a 2nd Battery, which I have started the ball rolling by ordering replacement air box etc.

Ok new Stainless Brackets have been manufactured for the Foxwing ! Plus LED flood lights have been delivered, Pics up soon

Next Mod, has been 4X10watt LED lights, two on each side. Controlled via Wireless keyfob.

Next up is a delivery of a Cyclone Filter, so I can position a Aux Battery.
Basic Electronic split charge has been ordered.
Not sure how much room I will have, so have not ordered a battery yet.
A new power supply will feed the rear Lighter socket, and also power the LED work lights. driven from the AUX battery.

Now need to find the biggest Battery I can fit in there....

Oh to Add,
The Foxwing only fixes onto a Oz tent RV5.
Each portion of the Foxwing is 2.6 mtrs, the RV5 is the only oz tent that's 2.6 metres wide.
(anyone want a RV4 ? :( )

Looking good :icon-cool: was quite a challenge to wrap that for posting!

Can't you just use 2.4 meters of zip and a bungee strap through the eye of the zipper to stop it unzipping? They are all the same zips just different lengths.

Had a Auto Electician over today to wire up Split Charge and Volt MEter, with a 50 amp power supply to a rear fuse board, 3x Cigarette sockets powered from aux battery.
Hes returning next week to wire up all 6 of the LED roof mounted work lights.

OK I changed the Remote Control for the LED work lights for a PRo version from CPC.
The remote is larger but it works better and more reliable.

I have found the Fridge runs fine from the Aux battery with no charging for about 2 days set at 2 degrees.

I do like to set the fridge at -5 to give the drinks a real good chill and to impress friends when they want a drink of Ice cold Drinks ;)

We had a trip up to Wales last month, and everything was great.
I have used the Oztent 2 a few time while at camp with the Scouts, really annoying as I camp my oztent in minutes while scout tents take hours !!! lol !

We as a family had a weekend camp using the Oztent 4 and the 2 which was a great weekend on the Norfolk Coast.

Not sure where to take things for 2014 ..
