If Mr T produced 40 series trucks today they'd need to carry a Government Health Warning - they're addictive.
But we all suffer from the same problems - rust...
If those of us who are rebuilding, restoring, or whatever term you want to use put a note of the body parts that we need (and the model of 40 series) maybe with the numbers to hand we could persuade a fabrication shop to build the jigs and make the most-wanted panels, after all they do it in foreign climes but it's the shipping and duties that really kill us on prices.

But then.... Mr T was persuaded to make a homage to the 40 with the FJ cruiser by that many people wanting one at the Chicago Motor Show in 04/05. The FJ Cruiser was launched in 2006 at $21,000 OTR. My son has been trying to buy one in Canada and a 2006 still fetches more than $17,000! And they are hard to find!
The 40s and their latter date cousins are all addictive - be warned!
