Right...here is the goal.
To hardwire my gps into a 12v ignition live source, yes I know that means it will turn off when the ignition is turned off but it has a setting to stop it doing this. I then want to hard wire the audio wires from the gps through the Parrot bluetooth kit so that when the gps gives an audio prompt it mutes the stereo and comes through the speakers.
I have the data/audio cable for the gps below:
The wires have the following use:
Red: DC input. The red lead needs a 1.5A, 12V fuse
Blue: Port 1 out
White: Alarm
Orange: Voice (-)
Violet: Port 2 out
Black: Ground
Yellow: Port 1 in
Brown: Voice (+)
Green: Port 2 in
I then have the wiring diagram for the parrot 3100 kit but think it would need to come in from the units control unit as it will then go into the box which will mute the audio and ensure the gps audio comes out clear.
Any help appreciated.
