Hzj80 questions - new to Land Cruiser

Hi all, I’m looking at purchasing a 97 Hzj80l here in Morocco with 213xxx km. This will be my first Land Cruiser purchase so I’d appreciate any advice you can give. I also have a few questions about it as I’m deciding to whether or not to purchase.

Aside from a couple oil leaks, everything seems to be working fine. Any specific considerations with this model/year? Asking price is about 5000 usd.

What is this piece? And can anyone recommend a source for the rubber boot that has disintegrated?

Any major concern with this torn rubber bumper? Source for a replacement?

What is the purpose of this hook attached to the 2nd row seat?

Last question is does anyone have a source for seat belts for the front row bench? It has the bench seat and the shoulder belt, but no belt or buckle for the middle seat.

Hi,

The hook in the last photo if for when the seats are folded fully forwards, you then can hook it up to the grab handle in the roof to stop them falling back down. There is a pouch in the seat you can tuck it into.

The bump stop is not a game changer. Depending on local conditions, either toyota or the likes of partsouq or Amayama can supply most parts for them.

The first photo I'm trying to work out where it has been taken, but it looks like axle or gearbox breather pipe?

Afaik the first photo is from the clutch fork boot. Nr5 on the drawing

Yes, your right, so most likely is the gearbox breather. Might be supposed to be held on with one of the bellhousing brackets?

the gearbox breather attaches to the top right bell housing to engine bolt.
