Watching this with much interest, I didn't know oem springs were different ratings.
I wonder how Toyota choose as to what 120's they fit what to, or can they be customer specced from new ?

No one size fits all me thinks , I know from experience that LWB suspension does not work well on a SWB , I would assume because of the weight difference along with the pendulum/leverage whatever you want to call it effect .

Your happy with your suspension apart from one specific so i would suggest you find a weigh bridge and match shocks to weight while keeping the springs you have .

Good idea Shayne,I'll probably buy 4 Ironman foam cell shocks,keep the springs and see how I go.
