Coincidentally I did a similar loop of Scandinavia in 2013 at around the same time, carrying ehrmmm slightly more stuff than you. I think I was around 1 week behind you and also had to alter my plans to accommodate the holed ferry!

I recall the ferries being around 3-6 quid a pop, substantially more or not for a 4x4?

Yes, I was with my partner and well behaved

I think the ferries were around £10-£15 each. They added up to some £140 plus we paid another £80 in tolls for the whole trip.
