My AC pump seized when dye was injected to check were the system is leaking. Now i have been considering changing the various components that were leaking including a refurbished pump but have come across recommendations that the AC system needs to be flushed. The reason they say is to ensure that you remove all traces of contaminates caused by the pump seizing. If this is the case then it seems that i will have to take it to a garage for the whole job as every bit of the system which is not being replaced needs to be flushed. Has anyone flushed their AC system after their pump seized? Is it worth doing?
