I run a piece of transparent hose at the exit of the fuel filter towards the injection pump so I could see if theres air in the fuel line. old filter was letting in a lot of air, bought a new filter housing from roughtrax hoping that would solve it. brand new filter housing with brand new...

surely, fan clutch, thermostat, injectors and IP adjustment must be looked at as well.....and IP is not a cheap job. ask me how I know....

did you tried to drive in 4x4 to see if theres any change? could be something inside the axle?

not necessarily. if front diff is with fresh oil, see if you can identify the source of leak. Thats the pic where I notice the oil on the right hand side bracket. Its very dificult to look in between ps pump and alternator, i tried with a mirror and torch. On the side photo, alternator body...

i can only see a picture, he needs to look properly to see if thats the case or not. on these LJ cars, alternator has an oil fed vacum pump on the back. Mine leaks, so I bought an aftermarket one (Quinton hazell) and will see if original can be repaired or not.

on previous pics looks like the powersteering pump bracket has oil on it. Mine looks same and culprit is alternator leak.

I'm not sure if European round headlight 70's got these guards? But certainly Australian models did. :flags-australia: Ben,my italian market round headlights lj 73 has the same look gearbox guard, can recognise the left hand side reinforcement. not sure how thick the plate is though.

a superglow sistem would put a high voltage for a very short time on a lower voltage glow plug. a wilson switch is putting the same high voltage for as long as you keep it on. if you hold a wilson switch on with normal super glow plugs, you end up burning them very very fast.

I have the same tyres, they are nice. Blue goes away if you want quicker with a wet brush.

hi, rear mudguard brackets. round headlight lj has slightly different shape then square headlight one. they bolt on top of mudguard and thin end has a bolt on the inner wheel arch.
