i can only see a picture, he needs to look properly to see if thats the case or not. on these LJ cars, alternator has an oil fed vacum pump on the back. Mine leaks, so I bought an aftermarket one (Quinton hazell) and will see if original can be repaired or not.

on previous pics looks like the powersteering pump bracket has oil on it. Mine looks same and culprit is alternator leak.

a superglow sistem would put a high voltage for a very short time on a lower voltage glow plug. a wilson switch is putting the same high voltage for as long as you keep it on. if you hold a wilson switch on with normal super glow plugs, you end up burning them very very fast.

hi, rear mudguard brackets. round headlight lj has slightly different shape then square headlight one. they bolt on top of mudguard and thin end has a bolt on the inner wheel arch.

rhd is easier to source parts, even in uk. lhd, u need lots of luck, very difficult to source parts. but, its possible. u need to check if your electric has the conectors for ac and to see if the nuts/bracksts to fit the ac unit under the dash board are in place.

surely, easy tracks would have no risk. actually, probably safer then driving in traffic! I just got the next size seat front facing for our 16 months child ....and she will enjoy the better views in the LJ. just dont plan on doeing any track where locking diffs would be required.... easy...

just before you order on ebay, have a good look at the drivers handle as well. you need to pull the inner door panel. on my car, Ive noticed cracks developing from the handle hinge points. cannot be welded Ive been told, so check that to avoid another surprise moment!

once its done, pull the inner panels from inside the truck and waxy oil it. Mine was repaired for similar damage probably when I bought it, but I went ahead and sprayed all panels, inside fenders, hood, sills, doors. waxyoil will drip and stink for two weeks, but then its ok…:)

try putting a transparent hose between filter and injection pump and see if you get air bubbles. if so, work your way back to fuel tank.even fuel filter cap can let air in. I had fuel tank pipes corroded at the tank inlet, with lots of air coming through.
