Does anyone know the paint code off the top of their head for the bumper colour on a 1999 100 Series VX. Body colour is 8L4 (metallic blue) but there isn't a second code on the VIN plate on mine for the lower colour. I thin kit is called Dark Silver but could be wrong - it's the Anthracite...

I would have the head gasket replaced. It would be quite difficult to break the bottom of the engine. The 1FZ-FE engine is very very strong. If it was running smooth it is most likely OK, however without stripping it down there is not much of a way to test it. Make sure when the head is replaced...

Or even if you don't have a vice to hand, a G clamp will do the job.
