You have to check each wire from plug to sensor with a multimeter, there was no visible damage on any of the plugs or devices on my seat, however two of the wires were not conducting, broken somewhere in the loom.

Can agree with Higgy, the position sensor wiring under my passenger seat was broken, bit of a bind taking out the seat, but its the only way to get at the wiring properly.
