Does the 2f Engine need a non return valve as it looks like my carb drains of fuel and is a pig to start after a day or two? Once started or warm its fine

Clive Thanks for the information. I have removed the fixed fan and installed an electric one which has sorted the problem of her not warming up and it feels like she has a little more grunt. A few more pics of the stainless additions.
