@Shayne, thanks, that may be possible! But same questions then remains, do I then need to cut it out and weld a muffler in place?
@Bert, my indy tried something similar but it only lasted about 6 months and so here we are.....
Hi all,
Failed my MOT yesterday due to the rear silencer having a hole in it.
Spoke to Toyota MD here in Sweden who offered me a kit for 900 euro to fit.
I searched euro4x4 who offer the same kit, OEM standard for a little less.
My question is; does anyone know how much of the exhaust that...
Hi,
So this may be a dumb question but how do you get the rear door/tailgate to lock in place and stay open at its widest point?
On the lever there is a sticker with instructions but I just can not get it to work.....
Please explain it to me as you would to a 5-year old.
Many thanks for any...
I get 23-24 mpg on a good day and 19 mpg in the winter. I think this is quite poor given that most driving is done on 50-60 mph roads outside the city with minimal stop/start.
To RBG21´s point, I could probably get similar consumption from a 5.0 Supercharged Range Rover and giggle a bit more.....
It does yes - assuming you mean the soft, pull out type?
This is full height i.e also covers back of 2nd row seats?
Where about are you and could we arrange transport?
Thanks for all replies and inputs!
Ended up going for the Cooper Discoverer ATT. Decided in the end that I want a dedicated set of summers and winters respectively and these had the best sound, fuel and wet grip rating. Also a very good price.
Perhaps too good to be true but Cooper seems to...
Mud terrains are probably a bit too hard core for me, also for looks.
Based on theswe posts I should probably reconsider the BFG KO2 tho...
What is the general experience of wear, how many miles do you get out of them?
@Shayne; There is a version called Toyo Open Coutry A/T+ that look really good and have ok ratings. I´m just leaning more and more toward running 1 set all year around and then I need the snow flake which they dont have : /
Thanks for replies!
@Chris ; if I understand it correctly the AT3 4S is simply a development of the AT3 so glad to hear you have good experience from them!
@Grimbo ; BFG KO2s were my obvious candidate but then noticed they are double the price vs the others and my main concern is that they are...
Hi,
I dont know if this subject has been done to death but I´m looking to get some advice on new tyres.
Currently in Sweden an by law I need to change to summer tyres by end of March.
Narrowed it down to 3 options;
1) Cooper Discoverer ATT
2) Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S
3) Goodyear Wrangler...
@Shayne , SteveJB; thanks for the suggestions!
Unfortunately none have what I am looking for. The ARB style bumpers are a bit too hard crore fore me.
Maybe a local welder is the best option. Will see what i can find....
ok will give it a try, hoping easy fix.
There is a breaker and I have serached but I cant seem to find any brush guards at all excepy for the one from ARB which I dont like.
Does anyone happen to have the measurements for the fittings? I am wondering if I could get a brush guard for a 4 runner...
