    90 series headlights

@Mick W hey mate just saw and funnily enough just had a pair of these arrive today, probably off the same bloke. They look good on yours keen to fit them, how did you get the shrouds to fit exactly, reckon a heat gun will do the trick?

    Transmission troubles

Thanks mate, I'll probably see if I can do a few fills and refills and maybe fit an external cooler for now.

    Transmission troubles

That’s a relief as it’s neither milky white nor pink milkshake (was aware but still figured safest to assume the worst). Definitely makes me a bit less worried, as I dreaded contaminating the coolant and blowing a head. I will drive it til it’s hot and do a test once I’ve got the drain plug...

    Transmission troubles

Hey guys so I’ve had some issues with my transmission in my 3rz 90 series. I’ll try and sum it up: Did a drain and refill, way more came out than my manual said to put in just figured it had been overfilled prior. A week in started slipping when upshifting and giving off a strong burning smell...

    90 series headlights

Agreed Shane, the challenge is the website uses google translate to get it into English as it’s for the JDM market so it’s all a bit vague. The fella in the video seemed to have no trouble fitting it as it’s supposedly just a copy of the optioned headlight assembly available in some counties. so...

    90 series headlights

Ahh yes, the ones I've posted are meant to be JDM fittings for 7 inch round headlights if I've read correctly, so I'd imagine are RHD/might fit a bit better than angel eyes?

    90 series headlights

Cheers Shane that's frustrating, down here they can be pretty strict too I'm not sure how the regulations compare. This fella fit the set from the second link with a really solid walkthrough, stil on in his newest vid so no defect notice yet I'm guessing: But he's also tinted his lights and put...

    90 series headlights

I believe I’ve found some aftermarket ones, seem to ship worldwide from Malaysia https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fiberglass-Front-Headlight-Lamp-Frame-For-Land-Cruiser-Prado-90-95-1996-1999-/164281123767?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0 Now I’m not 100% sure...

    RZJ-95 fuel filter location

Thanks Shane, do you reckon the hilux surf would be the same as a 90 series Prado

    RZJ-95 fuel filter location

Cheers, I haven’t been able to find anything for the 3rz, reckon it’d be the same? Also the RZ options don’t come with a sub tank (at least in aus, lowest option) but passenger sill gives me a good starting point. Thanks

    RZJ-95 fuel filter location

Been going over my new 3rzfe 4cyl petrol 90 series and changing fluids and filters. Air and oil have been easy but when it came to the fuel filter I haven’t been able to find anything online and don’t fancy taking things apart to find it just yet so wondering if anyone knows where it is?

    90 series headlights

Hey Rob or anyone else. Hope I’m not hijacking the thread does look like an old one, but was wondering what the installation process was like for these mounts and what sort of bulbs you ended up fitting? I’m guessing I can’t take the bulbs straight out of the original assembly but I could be wrong.
