The idler bearing is not in use when the aircon pump is turning so any other noise from the pump in this mode they consider is not repairable. I would have thought it possible to get pump parts from a specialist but not Toyota. So Frank in my case its only noisy when the air con is on....so...

My Amazon air con is noisy when switched on . I have noticed when switched off its fine, I have checked the engine and can see what appears something connected to the belt (black plastic cover)starts to spin and straight away its noisy more so when engine is revved hard .Could this be a bearing...
