    Stickers, T Shirts etc idea.

I like the wording but wondered, as it is for 40 through 70(some) series if it would suit the early Toyota symbol and therefore be a round sticker? Symbol below, Rodger

    1980 BJ41v 2B Engine Rebuild

Bei Facebook anmelden - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club] BJ40-FJ45-HJ47 LANDCRUISER GROUP AUSTRALIA The guy you need to message in that group is Ben Keen. The mechanic sounds like he's not the one for the job and who obviously likes unreliable vehicles because they earn more money for him. Keep...

    1980 BJ41v 2B Engine Rebuild

Hello and welcome. From your description it sounds like the head gasket has a leak and is allowing water into one of the cylinders. Act before it gets worse and causes far more damage. Most parts for the 40 series are aftermarket although there are some still available from Toyota and recently...

    usa to spain move?

How long is your wife's sabbatical or perhaps that question should be how long do you contemplate that the LC will be in Spain? Vehicles brought to Spain can run on their registered country's registration plate for 6months. They must have a valid road worthiness test certificate (UK -...

1978 FJ40 Clutch release cylinder parts

Years ago when my clutch pushrod bar bar snapped, Milners had all the necessary parts in stock and I received them the following morning. Worth trying them. Rodger

    Lucky or what?

I am on a 40 series feed from Australia which, on occasions, gets input from guys with 25 and 28 series trucks. The following incident was posted over the weekend and the consideration the writer showed by not wanting to park blocking anyone's access really paid off. Lucky or what? The other...

    Hello all!

Hi Collin, Both trucks look good. Is your '82 a factory soft top? Because my 40 is an ex-winch race truck I have used the full six-point roll cage as the hood frame and had the soft top made to fit but recently I acquired a factory soft top at the right money and, of course, it is higher than...

    1976 FJ40

As Ben says but the resistors are on top of the blower unit in the engine bay. It could be trapped wires between the plastic casing where it joins the heater unit but IMO more likely to be with the blower unit: is the drain hole blocked? does the blower motor run freely? Rodger

    Sound deadening FJ40

Your FJ40 looks amazing, a beautiful restoration. I would like to see more photos of it. Regarding the sound deadening, being a soft top we did not use any sound deadening but, having travelled in a hardtop 40 in the past, it is a necessary addition and it will enable you to hear the radio...
