Think @jah would also benefit from seeing how you set the position of the heater to allow connection of a takeoff pipe and your snazzy perspex window doofer.
how did you find the experience @GeekOKent ? Im not particularly keen on the stadium lights but other than that I've been waiting for them to appear here.
EF products are certainly very capable. My folks use a Delta Max for peak load shaving and we have a little River Pro for running all the gear in our ground tent.
If you don't want to or know how to build a custom system these are a great option.
I'm not sure either unit is designed for...
@oneafrikan as nick said your video sounds exactly like mine did when we disconnected the fuel pump and turned the engine over. So I was suggesting it sounds like a lack of fuel problem.
if there's fuel in the tank and it's priming it may be the immobilizer which, correct me if I'm wrong, will...
Only time I've heard my 80 make that noise is while turning over with the fuel pump disconnected. You sure diesel is making it to the engine?
There's so much water in my cable channels you could keep fish there so I doubt the problem is with your loom.

A couple of points to consider based on my build:
Wrap the exhaust - the heat coming off the short section of pipe inside the box was enough to overheat the unit with the lid on. Wrapping it with some of that exhaust fiberglass...
