names Ed and have been into 4wding for a couple years now, recently went out a bought the only 4wd that appeals to me and is one of the most badass trucks out.

picked her up on sunday, went straight out and climbed the first hill i could find hahaha.

well come to the club. I would like to buy one of these but we done get in the uk. i will have to wait till i move to SA before i get one. How good it that v8 diesel?
i heard rumors that in SA they might do the engine with a twin turbo. are they very electricky?

Rumours of a TT version are just that. rumours. However people have done them "backyard" style, with good results but Apparently the manual box isn't strong enough, however I'm a bit confused as a chipped single turbo vdj ute makes on average (with 3" exhaust and deisal chip) the same power as a vdj200 series.

The engine is awsome. Loads of torque and power, makes a really nice rumble too

With the manual, electrics is really miminal, how ever some
People have done an auto conversion an you can imagine that Toyotas auto gearbox ecu isn't going to be lacking in wiring hahah
