Hi all,

I have recently got a Dell Desktop computer.
The reason I wanted it was so I can output to my TV, with HDMI

The problem I have is,

1/ The TV has no VGA input, only a load of HDMI inputs, SCART's and components.

2/ The deskto I got didn't have an HDMI output.

So I bought a graphics card of Ebay, which had a HDMI output, VGA output, and DV output.
Planning to use a HDMI lead from the new card, to the TV.
But when i look at installing the card into the desktop, it won't fit.

It won't fit because the PCI slots are too far forward to the rear of the computer, so phisically, it won't slot in.

Then on closer inspection, I can see what looks like an AGP slot location, but the hardware fro the slot has not been installed onto the motherboard of the desktop.

See the image. Click it to enlarge to view.

I have circled in red, the AGP slot, or should I say, where it is supposed to go, if it had have been installed .

So it looks like i have to sell this graphics card, that I just bought,

Any one know of any other ways, I can use this Dell desktop, and output to my TV?

Are there HDMI cards available, that will slot into one of the vacant PCI slots?
