I used to have one many years ago. Reg No 312 BOM, it was the only car I ever owned that I sold at a profit, £370 you could add a couple of zeros now.

Yes they did, slightly but I don't remember anything serious.

I had one years ago. I ground all the paintwork off , body off , chassis metal sprayed etc etc.

My friends just been up in his to do some work. it had had electronic ignition fitted and I had to check the spark with the strobe. WTF, could not see the mark. It was so far out it was behind the cross member. At least 45 degrees too advanced. He says it's much easier to start now!. He's just got back from Belgium OK.
