I have the sickness very bad. My 60 is a 12HT conversion, and my DD for now. I've added custom bumpers, winches fr/rr, OME dual batteries, dual alternators, working on the interior for camping/sleeping. My '73FJ40 is in pcs, awaiting the 13BT sitting in the corner.
I've gone to the dark side of diesels, seem to be the most interesting. Shot of me in the Chilcotin last fall, don't know who made the giant Inuksuk, but it was very cool!

Welcome to the club.

Nice looking 60 you've got there. :icon-biggrin:

Any pics of you're 40?

Great looking truck there CP, and I like the sound of winches front and rear!

'Cos I'm nosey, is the rear winch also a Warn and is mounted under the rear of the truck, or is it removable on a receiver? Interested to see some close up photos of the rear winch set-up.

Welcome Ben. I will be bringing my truck over to Canada next year and plan to visit Vancouver Island again. May well bump into you there

here is a link to my rear bumper. Its a Runva winch, I was curious to see how good they are. It's 11500 with syn line.

Its a tight fit, but permanent.
Here is a pic of my 40 in its glory days, its in pcs now, awaiting rebuild. The 60 took over time and money, but this winter
is the sched to get it back together. I built the cage,, SOA, dual arbs, 4.88's on 38.5x14 TSL/SX's. At the time, a balanced 351 with
4 spd trans and t-case.

Never mind the Cruisers, what's the open canoe on the roof?!

I miss my canoe; 15'6" PE with 72" airbags front and rear, good for upto G3 whitewater quite easily without swapping. Not quite a spec boat, but about as close as you can without going mad.

IMG_0784.JPGIt's a PakCanoe. Kind of a internal frame collapsible canoe. It is really light, weighs only 44 lbs / for you 20 kgs
It rolls up into a canvas duffle. Its' 16 ft. I really like it, but have been offered a original cedar and canvas Huron Canoe from
a friend so I will be trying to sell this one. This canoe is very durable, tough skin. Quite impressive

P1090728.JPGHere it is being assembled. It fits in the black bag to the left. In the website you can see
actual rolled dimensions. Not bad, takes about 25 min to assemble
