Well not today but I've been making this in the odd ten minuets here and there at work & put it up today.

I once made a 6m octagonal green oak sun room.. a lot of work.. pieces in multiples of 8 16 32 64 and worse case scenario of 128 with complex angle wotk in the roof.

Nice, really nice. There's just something really nice about owning something quality like yours that nobody else has! Knowing you've made it is the icing on the cake!

There's a guy near us that's made bird tables as exact scale replicas of medieval timber framed buildings in the local Weald and Downland museum. He was offered £2000 on the spot for one during the local open gardens, he turned it down of course.

I love handmade stuff like this , we have an old dolls house in the loft made by the kids grandparents who lived to the grand old ages of 97 and 99 , though i didn't know them and the dolls house being battered and nothing particularly special i just can't convince myself to throw it away . I hope your workmanship duly gets the same kind of respect from a complete stranger many many years from now

I'm passionate about out anything hand made, having a wooden house, the carpenter up the road to me makes all the wooden furniture for us, window sets, door sets, wooden paneling and all the beds, so far.

You will be proud of that for some time to come, I'm sure.
