Solicitors are searching for a soldier by the name "Jones" who served at Rorkes Drift, it has occurred that the relatives of a Zulu are claiming someone in the second rank fired when there was no immediate need for that as the front rank were dealing with it, a claim for compensation has been made.

thats not too far off the mark with sgt Blackman languishing in prison for doing his job ........... I am glad the sniper case was dropped (he didnt shout a warning to the suicide bomber!) too many lawyers and not enough gallows for them!

I worked with a guy called Hook who was the great nephew of Henry Hook - in reality he was a much decorated professional soldier.

A rorkes drift veteran is buried in Taunton, his grave is an overgrown mess, not looked after.

I know that joker Jones played for Wales.Shouldn't be too hard to find him.
