This was my lunch today, turkey, little sausages, pigs in blankets, stuffing, bread sauce, petit pois, lovely round carrots (I don't know how he made them round) all cooked by my brother in law, and I finished it all including the best roast potatoes since my mums.

Pretty much what we had with parsnips and sweet chestnuts, preceded by king prawn cocktail and followed by Christmas pudding in fresh cream, then ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz!
All done by my Sister. You gotta love Christmas!

I should have mentioned the starter was some sort of Japanese prawn cocktail contained in a box of bamboo and boiled in the box I think, the bamboo had to be peeled back to reveal a prawn rice dish inside, and the main course was followed by Christmas pud with a caramel cream of course.

Had Christmas dinner in a restaurant for the first time and got given the mince pies to take home. Feeling rather like that Chas, (and succumbing to zzzzzZZZZZ) it was 6 o'clock before we got to eat them!

I told my Mrs don't want a big meal,
Turkey, Stuffing, Carrots, Roast Tetties, Sprouts, and a Red Cabbage concoction she found on a recipe page, as I have gone off Christmas pud, I had Almond and Cherry sponge pud and Clotted Cream
Couldn't of eaten the pigs in blankets, and sausages,
Felt a right porky bugger after all that
