Day 15 We had all booked the 7pm train so there was no rush to do anything as it was only a couple of hundred miles to the terminal. We stopped off in Dunkirk on the way, had trouble parking so we went to a Buffalo Grill where I had wings, Rosy had steak and Trev had... fish. Then on to Adinkirk again for supplies and got to the terminal a couple of hours early. We all managed to get the train 40 minutes earlier than we had booked so only had an hours wait


We returned from holiday and were all welcomed by the M25 which was poo.

Things learnt on this trip?
I need another leisure battery or save my pennies up for that lithium thing of rosies, it was the battery that kept on giving.
Flip flops, not had any in years, wow!
A 120 is not an 80
Don't follow Trev
Manuels go down hills so so so so much nicer than auto's (Rosie and I swapped for some drone footage)
My truck did 2 mpg less than last year even though I did a lower average speed, Roof tent!
My autohome is the quickest to set up and take down, but I can only sleep in it. Trevs Ikamper is next and has loads of room. Rosoes howling moon, The reason i bought a clip clip, its set up...
Don't leave it in drive in really steep hairpin bends.

Just before you get to Austria on the motorway there's services and they sell them both.

It's all the video i Have to go through that will take ages. Ive done the boring bit of my journey to slovenia so far. Need to go through Slov 1 next I got phone video, go pro video and trevs magic dash cam video, front n back. Thats gonna take a while!

Things learnt on this trip?

I think you forgot a couple of items from the lessons learned list:

• To avoid sudden death by bee... carry an epipen
• Load maps onto fancy new samsung tablet before leaving home
• Be kind to your convoy by not fitting fog lights for brake lights
• Slovenia is superb and Slovenians incredibly hospitable.. must go back
• oh... and lastly.. a 120 is not an 80
