I just can't imagine Chris would have gone to the bother of making such a nice spacer if it wasn't needed. The bolts actually look like the ones that hold the rear seats in

    Front prop bolts.

Good question Jon For me it does look like the one on my old 80 as I am 80% sure the slider area is different. I have seen spacers on props before on big lifts.

    Front prop bolts.

So need some help here. My front prop bolts are looking past there best and don't really want to refit them. So the question is what do people do when they have a spacer fitted to the flange? They measure m10x1.25 and 45mm long 14mm head. Has anyone found a supplier for small head bolts or...

    Diesel heater in a box

So I acquired a diesel heater this weekend so looking to build a box. I was wondering how you guys decided on the size of the fuel tank? How much do these use per night in your experience approximately only as I under stand so many factors. I suppose I am asking should I go for a 5l tank and 2l...

Well. Its seems to be related to fixing the air con. If I run with it off no issues. Air con on and the revs drop to 300. The actuator appears to be working as it clean on the rod but doing nothing. So I am going to have an adjustment one night this week

No it has 2 diesel tanks for extended range. So stuff has escalated While running on the sub tank as lazy to fill up the cruiser had a stalling moment. So on my way home picked up a diesel filter and changed. On a very short trip last night seemed better. Off to Wales today so time will tell...

So I have had a bit of a lose in power or a splutter every now and again but coming back Sunday the cruiser stalled pulling up to a round about after a long 70mpg run. I switched over to the sub and ran fine. Today started off ok but when it was hot and slow manovering stalled again. Fired on...

Front top control arm ball joint failure

I'd say the non oem suspension would stop them paying out. Once you fit non oem you don't really have a leg to stand on. These wear much quicker when you haven't changed the top arms

Thanks bodie It was a fantastic weekend. As for the roof tent, I am trying out a swag to reduce weight on the roof as the cruiser goes so.much better without the weight.

Wales trip 9th to 11th June

Will be regular coffee breaks and a lunch stop each day. One of the routes has a short work to a waterfall to do. What else would you like to know? You need to bring enough fuel to drive the first full day enough food and drink to support yourself.

    Fuel economy

My 80 cruise set at 60mph some 75 or 80 overtaking then some city work. Averaged 24.5mpg. Not bad considering I thought a 120 would be more then that

I wouldn't be sure the captive nuts does come with those sills you linked to be honest. Most panels require some level of fabrication before fitting they aren't like a bolt on wing. Even they need holes drilling etc

If it were me I'd try cleaning up with a grinder wire a wire brush and see where you find shinny metal first. That outer looks like it may clean up and id just make patches on the inner. As I reckon most of that would clean up
