Similar issue on my rear locker. Replaced the protection plates as the old had rusted through, replaced the indicator switch. No sound from the actuator when engaging the locker so it's time to haul it out - when it's dry. Lying in a puddle is no fun..
Looking for a Toyota 41450-60070 Rear Diff Actuator if anyone has that doesn't need a mortgage to pay for it and is 100% working .... think mine is fubar and I'm battling so thought I'd take the easy route for once

Silly question, are you positive it was made in France for someone in France?? 'Minas' means 'mines' in Portuguese and Spanish, as in Land Mines ... so maybe an external connection?
Get a 22mm sleeved impact socket from Halfords / Amazon or similar, great bit of kits to keep in the glove box…

Given where you live Bob you might find the nice people at NFU at the showgrounds really helpful, I've only ever had excellent service from them over 10 years now. No funny call centres, just friendly local service at really good rates. Don't do bikes though
I got a genuine toyota one, only to find its for the model without rear aircon so it doesn't fit properly either... do any of the dog-specific ones that go up the sides and up the seat-backs look like they'll work? Possibly the best bet?
I’ve put in the Teyes CC3 unit, pretty good. Added in the DAB+ bits onto one of the USB slots and about to add a USB based TPMS system.
Jon W also installed the same unit I think. Huge improvement over OEM screen and Bluetooth….
Welcome, also in Scotland.... Redarc kit is available in the UK - little pricey but great stuff. As long as ATRC etc works and the tin rot is not bad you'll be good to go. Unfortunately not many places to go off tar here, but plenty of desolate roads to discover.

Sounds like a plan. I too use Costco diesel and had the same issue when having to use poorer quality diesel last week. Filled up with Costco again and the problem seems to be gone, but clearly there is an underlying gremlin that’s reacting somewhere …

I was using Keith Elgin Motors in Edinburgh but last I tried they were shut. Mostly due to road works and not sure if they've survived that...
