I was under the car yesterday checking things and noticed an ATF leak from the nearside engine/gearbox join. I was wondering if it could be fixed with a clean and sealant from the outside? I'll post a pic when its on the ramp. Cheers

I don't think the MAF sensor is iffy, but I'm on 150,000+ miles so I'll replace it. What are the usual MAF sensor iffy performance issues? What improvement might I get if I replace it? Seems an easy quick job to replace? Cheers

Only used it once a month to keep it sweet or for when the 120 was having it's annual service.I had a lot of fun with that car but the 120 suited my needs better.It's the only car I never lost money on which was a nice goodbye present! Thanks for all the help on here over the last 8 years. Cheers

Had my door painted last year but haven't put the spare wheel back on the door yet. I'd like to not rub the new paint with the spare,I think about 6mm of washers should do it. Can anyone confirm that? Cheers

When I'm doing a 'jungle day' i.e lots of scratching and barging,I turn my snorkel head 180 degrees round to face backwards,so it doesn't get hooked up on a branch and pulled off.Was just wondering if anyone else turns their snorkel heads around to avoid thick dust,which I think is advisable...

I dropped the automatic gearbox oil today,it looked black and the filter was well dirty.I'm pleased I decided to change it. What mileage or timeline is advisable? I drive offroad every day in the winter and then city driving in the summer. I'm on about 150,000 miles. Cheers
