Looks like i spoke too soon after driving my Collie around for a while the gearbox seemed to have sorted itself ie reverse gear was back that is until today when it lost reverse then when cool comes back again i really don't believe i am saying this but i think me and Collie...
I dumped the 20/50 oil after a few miles then put Helix 10/40 and after running for a few more miles put the proper spec 5/30 fully synthetic in at least the engine oil is super clean after two flushes :lol:

Hi All looks like my Collie is now behaving himself with two brand new batteries fitted and left for two days both batteries are still at 12.6v I can only hope that the drain was down to one of the batteries being dud thanks for all the advice everyone has given its very much appreciated
Sounds a quick fix but i would if possible like to find the fault when you say the alarm was going off do you mean actually sounding or had the siren been removed etc?

Thanks fingers crossed it does last hopefully i don't get the milkshake as the rad looks like its been replaced recently? i tried to fit a separate cooler on my last collie but the box gave up before i had chance and it was a pain trying to find one to fit in the space available :disappointed:
