Ooooh okay hahaha, will be interesting to see how it wil come apart.
Maybe I'll take the front drive shaft off and drive in High Locked. Then it is rear wheel drive when the front shaft is removed I guess?
Are they easy to replace? Yeah the fastest from amayama is mid May. But I've planned the first camping trip on 28th of april, RIP.
And partouq is massively delayed because of the floods in Dubai.
Yeah I would just replace them with genuine ones... I think the Toyota garage would be overpriced.
Noticed a weird 'clunck' or 'smack' when driving at higher speeds. When I took my foot of the acceleration pedal I noticed it and when putting my foot back again. When I came back from 4wd-ing.
Today I wanted to clean of my rims and taking the wheels off etc. When jacking it up I played with...
So many beautiful places! Here in Belgium there are quite a lot of little areas, but nowhere to camp with a 4x4. Every way into a forest is secured or forbidden to use.
I get what you are saying, the first 6 days will be full of driving, through the beautiful sceneries. During the 'rally' (more of a road trip), there are daily challenges you can compete in, with the Carbagerun I did 2 years ago we went all out on the challenges and didn't win anything with it...
Yes, a bit weird but It was also with the Carbagerun I did. But you ended closer to the point that we've started.
Kinda sad that I only have 3 days afterwards (it ends Thursday evening and I need to be back home in Belgium on monday. But it's a nice 'intro' so to speak to Scotland and I hope...
You can find it at scotlandrally.org I believe.
It is organized by a group of dutch people (I think) just like the Budapest Rally and the Viking Rally. A road trip through a country/country driving by/through the most beautiful scenery in the area. And you can complete challenges on the way...
My girlfriend and I are planning to participate in the Scotland Rally 2024 with my landcruiser 90 SWB. A fun trip driving 1800km within 6 days
Day 1: Calais- Stonehenge
Day 2: Stonehenge- Snowdonia
Day 3: Snowdonia - Lake District
Day 4: Lake District - Edinburgh
Day 5: Edinburgh - Isle of...
So after 2 months I've upgraded my suspension to the arb old man emu 2 inch lift! Conversion went smooth, the rear shocks have been replaced a couple of years ago by the previous owner... so it toon around 3 hours!
The ride height gaines around 6,5cm overall right after the conversion. Haven't...
As far as I remembered, he solved the problem with replacing the actuator motor on the turbo and that ecu from the driver, turbo motor witha second hand one.
Yes, at the moment I have a set of general grabber hts60, "60/40 onroad offroad" but it's mostly an on road tire. They came with the car and have done about 15k km so I think it's a waste to replace em, because you don't get a lot for them second hand.
Been looking into eveything, bgf km3...
Anyone has experience with the cooper discoverer st-maxx? I've been interestend in them in changing my tires from 265/70/r16 to 235/85/r16 st-maxx.
But i'm curious about the real world experience!
Or some recommendations for my lifted lc90? Wanted to put 265 75 16 on maybe but what AT tire?
Hellow,
A friend of mine has a problem with his D4D 120 series. It has a fault leading to the Turbo Solenoid. He replaced the part on the turbo after waiting for it for weeks. The part is working but the code is still there. He replaced the Driver, Turbo motor. Because it malfunctioned and cased...
Never really looked at this solution. Neither do I have the setup to quickly add airbags so I guess it is quite expensive with the compressor and running all the lines?
That's why I've not even drove over forestry tracks, only tarmac sadly. I said to myself a year ago if I had to renew my suspension it would be a lift kit. Not with a constant load because the only things I have on my car constantly is my roofrack and awning. I was suprised the vehicle was on...
Hey guys,
Doing my first little roadtrip right know through germany, only a few stops because I don't have a lot of free time right know, 1300km I guess.
Loaded with 2, rooftop tent, 270° awning, Dometic fridge, some kitchen stuff etc. Oh and 2 mtb on the back.
The problem I noticed (even...
Here I am with some pictures. Yes, maybe if I remove the hard plastic parts that make up my truck (without rear seats) I maybe have more length on the bolt to play a bit with it until it comes out.
The 2 last pictures are underneath the car on the left corner (you can see the fuel fill pipe), I...
